Foundation (Prep) Enrolment & Transition

  1. Start Your Online Enrolment: Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Be sure to attach all required documents with your application.
  2. Reference Guide: A Quick Reference Guide for using the VicStudents system is available here to assist you with the enrolment process.
  3. Foundation Enrolment Information Pack for Parents & Carers (2026): This information pack will be available to download from the 22nd of April 2025 and will provide detailed instructions.
  • Book a School Tour: Call us at 9760 4900 to schedule a tour and learn more about our school and the enrolment process.
  • Download Information Pack: From 22nd of April 2025, obtain the Foundation Enrolment Information Pack for Parents & Carers (2026) to get essential enrolment information.
  • Submit Your Application: Ensure your Foundation (Prep) enrolment application is submitted by Friday, 25 July 2025.
  • Application Outcome: You will be notified of your application outcome between Monday, 28 July and Friday, 8 August 2025. If offered a place, please accept the offer by Friday, 22 August 2025.
  • Transition Sessions: Participate in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4.
  • Prepare for School: Get ready for your child to start Foundation (Prep)!

Applications submitted after 25 July 2025 will be processed in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy as they are received. Please contact the school directly on 9760 4900 for support.

Prep Enrolments

The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Boronia K-12 College.

You can find information and resources about the timeline, including factsheets and a poster at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep). You can also download the ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers’ from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available from 22 April 2025).

You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2025 at Boronia K-12 College from Wednesday 23 April, 2025 up until Friday 25 July, 2025.

  1. Contact the school for details of our parent information sessions held in Term 2, to learn about our school and the enrolment process
  2. Submit an enrolment form for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 25 July, 2025.
    You will be notified of the acceptance of the enrolment between Monday 28 July and Friday 8 August, 2025. You should contact our school to accept the offer by Friday 22 August, 2025.
  3. Have your child take part in the transition sessions during Term 4, 2024. More information will be provided.
  4. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Wednesday 28 January, 2026.

Enrolment forms submitted after 25 July 2025 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
