Sports Carnivals
Two of the most anticipated events of the school year are our whole-school swimming and athletics carnivals. These events are always a hit with students and their families, who show their support by attending in large numbers. Both staff and students fully embrace the spirit of these days, dressing up in house colours or fun costumes to celebrate these special occasions.
Wear It purple day
Student Voice, in collaboration with the Wellbeing Team, organise a day of fun and celebration to demonstrate our commitment to inclusion at Boronia K-12 College. “Wear it Purple Day” is dedicated to creating supportive, safe, empowering, and inclusive environments for LGBTQ+ youth, ensuring that every student feels valued and respected.
ANZAC Day Celebration
ANZAC Day holds a special place in our school community as we come together to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers. Each year, we commemorate this important day with a respectful and heartfelt ceremony. Students, staff, and families gather to pay tribute through speeches, the laying of wreaths, and a moment of silence. Our school emphasizes the importance of remembering the past, fostering a sense of gratitude, and instilling the values of courage, resilience, and unity in our students. ANZAC Day is not just a day of remembrance but a reminder of the enduring spirit that binds us together as a nation.
